Hi Chicago Southsiders,
On Tuesday night, we attended the Bally’s Chicago Casino investment info session at the Chicago Urban League to learn more about the details of this unique offering. The investment window closes January 31st, so if you're considering participating, you’ll need to submit your indication of interest. However, before making any decisions, it’s important to consult with your financial team to assess the risks.
This investment is highly speculative and comes with a high degree of risk. Investors should be prepared for the possibility of losing their entire investment. Additionally, the company notes that returns may not be realized for several years—so if you need this money for essentials, proceed with caution.
We put together a quick recap of what was covered during the session:

Thinking About a Premium Subscription?
We’re considering launching a premium subscription to provide deep dives into investment opportunities like this, including how to read registration statements, understand investment lingo, and assess risks.
Right now, we’re stretched thin (I pulled an all-nighter to get this recap out for you!), and I write these articles for free. To sustain this level of reporting—and compensate contributors—we’ll need to find a sustainable funding model.
We Need Your Input!
