Happy Sunday Chicago Southsiders,
We had an incredible weekend at the 2025 Miss Chicago and Miss Chicago's Teen competition!
As a media sponsor for this event, Chicago Southsider had the honor of witnessing discipline and impact in action. The delegates who competed this year were nothing short of inspiring—each one making a difference in their communities through their platforms and demonstrating the remarkable power of discipline, consistency, and talent. Meet the winners here.
We were also thrilled to have Bose Akadiri, founder of Goal and Grind, represent Chicago Southsider as our guest host for the titleholder interviews. Right after the crowning ceremony, Bose teamed up with Chicago Southsider’s own Jasmine Williams to take us behind the scenes and help the world learn more about these incredible contestants.
You can catch their interviews with the winners on our Facebook page ChicagoSouthsider. Don’t forget to subscribe while you’re there for more updates and exclusive content!
As for me, I’m bundling up because it sounds like we’re in for some frigid temperatures. Stay warm, Chicago—I might just be staying in for the next 24 hours!
Have a great week!
