May Events: Treemonisha, Book of Grace, and More.
Your guide to unforgettable moments and must-see events throughout May.
Hey Chicago Southsiders,
Have you been outside lately? I clearly missed the weather memo this week because I stepped out in a hat, scarf, and long spring coat. No judgment zone, right?
My mind’s been fully focused on the Northwestern Medill Local News Accelerator program I'm participating in this week. We even pivoted from our original project and walked away with some big lessons.
On top of that, I’m trying to gear up for the weekend. I’ll be heading to see Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha at Harris Theater (subscribers get discounted tickets below!), and honestly, I might need a full day of rest after that.
If you spot us out and about, don’t be shy. Say hi! We don’t bite.
Alright, I’m wrapping up a couple articles right now, but we’ll be back soon with more!
Talk soon,
Charlene
